Hebron Baptist Church
From Pastor J. A. Proctor
Greetings Everyone

As you can see, we are eagerly working on our Web site.  We thank God for all the opportunities and
diverse ways we are afforded to share
Here is Hope For Eternal Life

God asks use to do several things:
  • Accept Him as Savior and Lord of our Lives
  • As he Grows us, that we do His will in Loving Him, Ourselves, and others
  • Share the Good News with others both in our Own Testimony and Support of other's in Ministry

God has blessed us so much at Hebron Baptist.
We have enjoyed a wonderful VBS and praise God, we have had 5 young people to accept Christ!
What a joy to be part of the lives of these young people.

We have seen several come forward moving their membership to Hebron as well.  God so good to us.

Those are but a glimpse of things to come.

I recall God's leading as my family was praying a year and a half ago, bringing us to Hebron.  I knew
then that God has 'as He Promises' many wonderful things planned for us to achieve together in His church
at Hebron Baptist.

The Following Verses remind us of our Father's work in Hebron Baptist Church

Acts 2:40 - 3:1 (NKJV) 40And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved
from this perverse generation.”  41Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day
about three thousand souls were added to them.  42And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’
doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.  43Then fear came upon every soul, and
many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.  44Now all who believed were together, and had
all things in common,  45and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had
need. 46So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they
ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,  47praising God and having favor with all the people.
And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Scripture is clear:  Obey God and He will increase.  So let this be our Model in Ministry as the Lord
Jesus' People led by the Holy Spirit.

I would encourage you to use the links provided to read your Bible daily and keep up with what God is
doing here at Hebron Baptist Church.

There will be Pastor's Updates often that will cover more detail of the church's activities.  Be sure

Philippians 4

1Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

4Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

5Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests
be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever
things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if
there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9The things which you learned and received and
heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely
did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever
state I am, to be content: 12I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all
things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13I can do all
things through £Christ who strengthens me.

19And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20Now to our
God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

21Greet every saint in Christ Jesus.
